Blue cheese gives you all the flavor for some pretty sweet macros!

Just a reminder that my first book, The Savior’s Heart: Lessons of Truth From The Gospel of Mark is now available for purchase here! Ordering your signed copy through my site helps cover the costs it took for publication—and supports my work in the cost of publishing future books too! I have many ideas on my heart that I believe the Lord has inspired.
Ok, on to today’s post!
For the bread, I used one serving of my 3 ingredient macro-friendly bread (I left out the optional sweetener and added some Weber herb seasoning). You can use find the recipe for the 3 ingredient bread here. I for the burger, I used 4 oz 96% lean ground beef mixed with 1 tsp (~5g) Dales marinade cooked medium rare (or to preference). After you cook the burger, add 14g reduced fat blue cheese on top and let it melt (I recommend using 28g if your macros allow, but nutrition reflects 14g). Add toppings of choice (I used tomato, dill pickle slices, mustard, and Sir Kensington’s ketchup. See below for the nutrition which includes the burger, Dales, 14g cheese, and bread.

I forgot to get lettuce or I would have added it. Next time I’m going to add Applegate turkey bacon! If you don’t like blue cheese, goat cheese, feta, or gorgonzola would be delicious!
Reader Questions:
1/ What would you add?
2/ Do you like blue cheese?
PSA: While I use macro tracking as a starting point with some of my clients, my #MacroFriendly posts can be used as as ideas for those who use a #MindfulMacros approach (AKA not tracking, but structuring meals based on how their body responds best to protein, carbs, and fat) as well. This is the goal place for some to reach after they learn the ropes by tracking for a period of time. For some of my clients who don’t want to track for one reason or another, we start with the mindful macros approach. Remember, there is no right or wrong way to find your forever way to eat!
