▶️ What day is it?? I said 56, but meant 57. Had to check my calendar to make sure… Getting a little crazy around here and losing track of time!🤪 ▶️ Also, pardon the Alabama shirt. I can support my husband while also supporting myself… #GoNoles! #RollTribe! ▶️ Ok, onto #MealPrep! Meal prep is beneficial for a variety of reasons. It frees up your daily time, saves you money, and helps you to stay on track with healthy choices so that you can reach any physique change calls you might have. ▶️ Specifically talking today about how to get started if you don’t currently prep and my two favorite approaches. ▶️ First approach is to start with the “lowest hanging fruit.” Tackle something that is very easy to do and easy to implement. For example, it might be super easy just to get veggies and fruit washed and chopped and ready to go for snacks. It does not require a lot of effort, energy, or thought. However it gives you a positive wind and set you up for success. ▶️ Second approach is to tackle the thing that will give you the most “bang for your buck.” What meal trips you up the most and derail you from your goals? Start there first. For example, if lunches at work throw you off because you don’t have a plan and you get take out, Start by planning how to do your lunches. Regardless of whether you need something healthy to keep you on track with your physique goals or a more cost-effective approach to keep you on track with your budget, this will give you the most return for the time spent. ▶️ With either approach, get really good at consistently prepping in that manner and then build upon the habit. You can always add one thing at a time until you’ve got a full meal prep plan in place. ▶️ Build a sustainable routine instead of trying to do everything all at once. ▶️ Find the @DashingDish shakes here: https://dashingdish.com/recipes/shakes ▶️ Head here for more info on the @DashingDish membership and all the tools it includes for meal planning/prep: https://dashingdish.com/about ▶️ Questions?
