It’s that time of year! Are you as lost as I usually am when it comes to good gift ideas? I’ll do my best to point you in the right direction! Click the title link to go to the product detail. I have included gifts that assist with healthy living and/or have a growth-oriented focus.
But, before I jump into my gift recommendations, I want you to make sure you check out this article by Karen Ehman on limiting gifts and especially the selection of 3 with meaning. What she refers to as gold, frankincense, and myrrh gifts.

DISCLOSURE: I HAVE INCLUDED SOME AFFILIATE LINKS, BUT ALL PRODUCTS/BRANDS, AS ALWAYS (UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED) ARE THOSE I USE, TRUST, AND LOVE, OR HAVE GIVEN AS GIFTS.

OXO Salad Chopper Bowl – This thing makes salads so much more fun and delicious. I love salads to begin with, but once you have a chopped salad, you won’t go back!

Audible.com membership – This was on my list last year, but it is worth mentioning every year. I have mentioned before how I love using Audible to consume most of the books I “read” these days. It is so convenient to be able to listen on my commute as it is difficult to find time to read. The exception are a few devotional style books, which I like
to read in an actual book format.

Nourish – This is a devotional which addresses health from the standpoint of physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects. It is not a diet book. For anyone who has battled any form of bondage or food-related struggles, this is a must read. I posted a bit more about the book here. Katie provides practical action steps rooted in Biblical principles based on her own personal experience (overcoming disordered eating and though processes) and her experience working with hundreds of women in the area of health from God’s perspective.

Scratch Off Map of the World – Perfect for those who love to travel and want to keep track of all the places they have been. I love that it includes all the states, not just countries, because for most of us that is a big enough bucket list to accomplish.

Gift Box Subscriptions – These are great fun because it gives the recipient something to look forward to for several months! Most subscriptions offer 3, 6, or 12 month options with discounts for the monthly cost with the more months you buy. Then the box is delivered to the recipient each month. You can find just about ANYTHING you can think of… cat/dog toys/treats, flavored nuts, special coffee flavors, fruit, flowers/plants, meals services, makeup, socks, ties, books, spices, and more! Simply do a google search and you’ll find more ideas than you can imagine!

Dashing Dish Membership – I definitely couldn’t leave this off. I have been a member since May 2013 and it has been worth every penny. I can also tell you as an official member of the Dashing Dish team that we have even more amazing things in store for members in the years to come! The Lord has given Katie and the entire team big visions and dreams that are directed to serving the members’ spiritual and physical health.

Everything But The Bagel Seasoning EVERYONE was raving about this stuff this year. I am sad to say I have no Trader Joe’s near me, but I found out that you can buy this on Amazon!! I also had one of my mom’s friends pick me up some as a surprise when she was on vacation and went to a TJ’s, but now that I know I can get it online, I’m set! If only their other foods were available too!
