
An entire 14oz bag of green beans is only 150 calories! This is great if you are a #VolumeEater like me! I have them almost nightly as a side with dinner. Roasted green beans are 💯!
Method: Steam in the microwave per package (6 minutes for me), drain, then spread on a baking sheet lined with foil. Spray with cooking spray, sprinkle with seasoning of choice, then broil under high (18 minutes is perfect for mine, but watch closely and start checking at 10 minutes).

My favorite way to season them is either Cavender’s Greek OR cinnamon + Splenda. I know the sweet version sounds weird, but hear me out! It’s like cinnamon sugar toast flavored beans. When I do that version, I spray with cooking spray and sprinkle with a tiny bit of salt (brings out the cinnamon sugar taste) and cinnamon before roasting. Then AFTER roasting, spray with I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter spray and sprinkle the Splenda on them. Don’t knock it til you try it! Remember that other veggies are often made sweet and savory, so why should green beans be different!? This method would likely be good on squash, zucchini, carrots, and broccoli, plus it might even convince picky kiddos to eat more veggies. Also, yes butter spray is not “clean,” but who cares if you get a big bowl of veggies in with a bit of spray butter and Splenda? #Moderation365
