#75Hard Day 72: Things Can Shift In A Moment! {Vlog}

▶️ Sharing something a little bit different today. I felt like the Lord wanted me to give a word of encouragement! ▶️ I was thinking about how the temperature went from in the 70s to in the 30s literally overnight. It was not fun for the walk this morning 🥶 ▶️ The quick shift in weather made me think about how our circumstances can often change in a moment in much the same way. ▶️ Scripture says that 1000 years are like a day and a day is like 1000 years to the Lord. What He can do in a moment can change everything! ▶️ What looks like an impossible situation or something that will destroy you can be used in God’s hands to bring about ultimate good for you or for someone else. See Romans 8:28. ▶️ Think about the Israelites who wandered around in the desert for 40 years. One day they were homeless and wandering and the next day they were literally taking hold of their promised land. ▶️ Even when they left Egypt, and were running from the Egyptian army, everything shifted in a moment. The Red Sea looked like it was their obstacle, making them a sitting target. It turned out that it was not only their means of escape, but was also the very thing that destroyed Egypt’s army! ▶️ Today’s devotional in the @swhwapp was so on point with these thoughts as well. ▶️ In the book of Daniel, we are told of the story of when Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were thrown into the fiery furnace. We are often taught of the parallel of this story to our own lives with regard to the beauty of the Lord walking with us in the midst of our trials and tribulations. The author noted something which I had not heard before. ▶️ They were tied up when they were thrown into the furnace. The fire from the furnace burned off the things that were keeping them bound, but did not burn them—it didn’t even touch one hair on their body. Scripture says that they did not even smell of smoke once they came out of the furnace! The fire consumed what bound them but did not harm them in the process. ▶️ Continued in the comments👇🏼

▶️ How beautiful a picture! The very thing that looks like it will destroy us, when we are waking with God, will not destroy us. Not only that, but in His hands, those “furnaces” potentially have the power to remove any and every thing that is binding us and keeping us from walking in freedom.
▶️ Have hope today that your impossible circumstance can be a beneficial to you in God’s hands.
▶️ Let me know if I can pray for you specifically over something that you are struggling with today. You’re not alone and things are not always as they seem.
