“Act Now”
We cannot rely on motivation. If we do, we become subject to hesitation. Whether it is overcoming your fears, defeating procrastination, or just getting the workout done when you don’t feel like it, the best way to approach things is usually to “act now.” I find immediate action to be a simple principle that yields the most results in many circumstances.
Yes, there are times when you need to marinate on things and do some deep, contemplative reflection, especially in the context of large, life altering decisions. But as it pertains to your day to day productivity, immediate action trumps all.
Hesitation will rob you of your goals. It is the enemy of your highest self. It is a slippery slope into the pit of complacency. It is the numbing song of apathy.
Acting now—It’s how you overcome hesitancy. It’s how you defeat procrastination. It’s how you break through comfort zones. It’s how you create momentum. It’s how you achieve consistency. It’s how you demonstrate that there is substance behind your words. It’s how you are faithful with every opportunity.
