#MacroFriendlyMonday — Rock N Roll Sushi {Restaurant Review}

In an effort to #SupportLocal, The husband and I have been trying some new restaurants. This past week, we tried Rock N Roll Sushi in Daphne, Alabama and it did not disappoint! We even ordered pick up again a couple days later!

They have calorie count on all their menu items, and some of their nutrition is even available in LoseIt! tracking app. The first time we ordered, I got the green room roll (a tuna/salmon/crab/avocado cucumber roll with no rice) and seaweed salad. The second time I got squid salad and seaweed salad. My husband got a tuna roll the first time, and hibachi vegetables the second time. Our only complaint would be the portion sizes on the rolls and hibachi, which were slightly less than that compared to other locations, especially factoring in the price.

The green room roll (pictured on the menu) was less than 400 calories, and the seaweed salad and squid salad were both less than 200. They had some other delicious sounding salads and sashimi with great nutrition as well! See below for some menu screenshots! Find the full menu here (scroll past the pictures that load and it is 2 full pages).

In case you are interested, I reviewed Stix, which is another local sushi / hibachi restaurant. That post can be found here.

Reader Questions:
1/ Have you tried any new restaurants during quarantine that I should know about?
2/ Would you try the squid salad?
