Got this one from @DannyJDotCom a while back, but haven’t had a chance to actually do it until now. Take your significant other to Goodwill or your local thrift store. Designate a spending limit (ours was $20 but we did not end up using all of it) for picking out what the other one will wear on the remainder of the date. It can be funny, cute, or whatever you decide (Halloween costumes currently available!!), but the other one has to wear what you pick out for them. I went with a preppy look for my husband and he got a dress he thought I would be cute in. Surprisingly, the outfits both fit us pretty well! See below!

You can get as elaborate as you want with the outfits… Accessories or not, it’s up to you. Obviously you might be kind of limited based on the cleanliness of what’s available.
From there you can do whatever you want, but the idea is to do something in public because you both will be feeling a little bit awkward!
We went to lunch, played darts, and got pictures at a photo booth to remember the day. The parting memento we did not expect was the cigarette but my husband found in the pocket of his shorts! 🚬

If you try it, let me know!
What fun date ideas do you have?
